I left my truck with them a month ago for over heating over 80km, i told them it was okay to drive around under 80km.They didn’t order parts till 2 weeks later after looking at my truck, they wanted 500 before even doing anything. They texted saying it’s ready for pick up, I called and asked if they test drove it before I jump on the bus from Winnipeg with my children and pet. I picked it up, and started overheating again 5 mins driving out on the highway. I paid 1900 for the work, they said it would fix the over heating. Now my truck is still there waiting for someone to look at it again to see what else it could be… I’m upset that they didn’t test drive it properly, that I had to come all the way to test drive it myself only to be going back to Winnipeg without my truck being “fixed”, wasting time and money going back and forth on the bus, stressing my children and pet. They said it was a miscommunication for the overheating so I’m guessing they didn’t actually drive it down the highway, just around the city. Hope I don’t have to go back and forth again from Winnipeg to Thompson or wait another month. Not a good first time experience with this place, makes me feel like they didn’t care or actually didn’t know what to do with my vehicle. I was willing to pay anything to fix my trucks problem; leaving it in Thompson instead of getting it towed to Winnipeg to my regular mechanic.
